Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Plain-English summary: we collect only what we need to send you license alerts — your email, company name, and the license numbers you ask us to watch. We use no tracking cookies, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lilium Digital LLC (“Lilium Digital,” “we,” “us,” or “CrewLicense”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit crewlicense.com, request a free license report, or use the CrewLicense service (together, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

We use the information above to: match your licenses against public records and send the alerts and reports you signed up for; prepare free license reports you request; process billing and prevent fraud; respond to support requests; send service notices (for example, a change to these terms or a delivery problem with your alerts); and maintain the security and reliability of the Service. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles.

3. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we have not done so in the past. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, and only to the extent needed for them to do their job:

Each provider is bound by contract to use your information only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately. We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lilium Digital, our customers, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy).

4. Cookies and analytics

We use no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising or analytics scripts on crewlicense.com. The app uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because we do not track visitors across sites in the first place.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS) and encrypted at rest. Account passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Data is stored in data centers located in the United States. Access to customer data is limited to team members who need it to support you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Texas law.

6. Data retention

We keep your account information and monitored-license list for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for 90 days so you can reactivate without re-entering it, then delete or anonymize it, except for billing records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes (generally seven years) and support correspondence we keep for up to three years. Free-report requests that do not become accounts are deleted after 12 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your rights and choices

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), and similar state laws, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@crewlicense.com from the address on your account, or use the settings in your dashboard. We will respond within 45 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will answer the appeal within 60 days. You can also adjust your alert settings, add or remove inboxes, and turn off SMS (reply STOP) at any time.

8. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will email the address on your account or post a notice in the app before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
