Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Plain-English summary: CrewLicense reads your Square data with read-only permission and shows you where a member of staff sits outside the usual range on refunds, comps and cash drawer counts, with the numbers behind it. It is a prompt to look, not proof that anyone did anything. Decisions about people are yours. Square does not expose item voids, so we do not report on them.

1. Who we are

CrewLicense (the “Service”) is owned and operated by Lilium Digital LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Lilium Digital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #22937, Casper, WY 82609. By creating an account, requesting a free report, or otherwise using the Service, you (“you” or “Customer”) agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. What the Service does — and does not do

The Service connects to your Square account with read-only permissions that you grant and may withdraw at any time. It reads payments, refunds, orders and their discounts, cash drawer shifts, locations, and your team member list. It compares each team member against the other team members at the same location, and against their own recent history, and shows you where someone sits outside the usual range, together with the figures that produced that result.

The Service cannot change anything in your Square account. It cannot take payments, issue or alter refunds, modify orders, change staff records, or act on your behalf in any way. It does not receive or store full payment card numbers.

The Service does not detect theft and does not determine that any person has done anything wrong. It reports arithmetic on transactions: rates, counts, medians, and differences between them. A result that falls outside the usual range is an indicator that invites you to look, not evidence, proof, an accusation, or a conclusion about any individual. Ordinary explanations are common — a person may work a section where discounts are routine, close more shifts than others, or handle returns for the whole floor.

We do not guarantee that the Service will identify any loss, and we do not guarantee that a clean result means no loss has occurred. Some activity is not visible through Square’s API at all. In particular, Square does not expose item voids, so the Service does not and cannot report on them.

3. Decisions about people are yours alone

You are solely responsible for any action you take regarding any employee, contractor, or other individual, including investigation, discipline, suspension, demotion, reassignment, or termination. You agree not to treat output of the Service as the sole basis for such action, and to make your own enquiry — which will normally include speaking with the person — before acting.

The Service is a tool with which an employer analyses its own business records from its own point-of-sale system. It is not a consumer reporting agency and the Service is not a consumer report or investigative consumer report within the meaning of the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not furnish information about any individual to any third party. You are responsible for complying with all employment, privacy, works-council, and data-protection laws that apply to you, including any obligation to notify staff that transaction data is reviewed.

4. Not affiliated with Square

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of Block, Inc., Square, or any of their affiliates. “Square” and related names are used solely to describe the system the Service reads from. Your relationship with Square is governed by your own agreement with them, and your access to the Service depends on permissions you grant through Square and may revoke there at any time.

5. Accuracy of information

Figures shown by the Service are derived from data returned by Square’s API. We mirror what that API gives us and do not independently verify it. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or corrected by Square after we read it, and some point-of-sale configurations record less than others — for example, where a till does not record cash drawer shifts, or where sales are closed without identifying who took them, the Service will say so rather than estimate. We present figures as they are, with their limits stated.

6. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to connect only Square accounts you own or are authorised to administer, and to use the Service only in relation to your own business. You agree not to: (a) resell, scrape, or redistribute data from the Service; (b) interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; (c) use the Service to harass any person or for any unlawful purpose; or (d) use automated means to access the Service except through interfaces we provide. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Plans, trials, billing, and auto-renewal

8. No guarantee of detection

The Service carries no detection guarantee of any kind. We do not promise that it will surface any particular pattern, that it will surface a pattern within any period, or that any amount of loss will be identified or recovered. Thresholds in the Service are deliberately conservative: it is designed to stay silent on small samples and on single unusual weeks, which means it will sometimes say nothing where something was in fact happening.

9. Notifications

The Service sends email to the address on your account. You may turn notifications off from your dashboard, except for essential account and billing messages. Email delivery depends on networks and mail providers outside our control, and we do not guarantee that any message will be delivered, delivered on time, or read. SMS is not offered.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your payment fails and is not cured within 14 days, or if we discontinue the Service (in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period). Sections 4, 10 through 15 survive termination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LILIUM DIGITAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT PUBLIC RECORDS WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT, OR THAT ANY ALERT WILL BE DELIVERED OR RECEIVED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LILIUM DIGITAL AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS, LOST REVENUE, UNDETECTED LOSS, OR ANY EMPLOYMENT DECISION YOU MAKE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lilium Digital from any third-party claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misuse of the Service or of the information it provides.

14. Intellectual property and customer data

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Lilium Digital and protected by U.S. intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription. You own the information you enter into the Service (your company details, contact addresses, and the list of licenses you monitor). You grant us a license to use that information solely to provide and improve the Service. Public license records remain public records; we claim no ownership of them.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other.

16. Entire agreement; severability; assignment

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Lilium Digital regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will email the address on your account or post a notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
